Ada's Garden Gift Wrap

My grandmother Ada loved flowers. When I was a little girl we would stroll through her gardens, and she would tell me the names of the plants, discuss their blooming cycles, and tell me who the original plants came from. Back in those days, neighbors and friends would share garden plants. And if Ada was going to visit someone she would cut some pretty flowers, wrap them in newspaper and take them along as a gift. She is where I get my love of flowers. I like to put fresh blooming flowers in my Christmas Tree on Christmas Eve. I adore pink roses!!! And what a fragrant Christmas morning it makes.
