On the corner of Caruth and Thackery in Dallas stands a large and very old Oak Tree. It covers the entire front yard. There are low limbs that reach and stretch as though they have been pulled. Its trunk is so wide it might take 6 of me to give it a hug. It towers way above the houses. I cherish it, as I know the homeowner and neighbors do.
